Briddim is situated within Langtang Valley in Rasuwa District at an altitude of 2229 meters. It is a Tibetan Buddhist village which is in Z shape. Though the residents here are Tamang by ethnicity, they are chiefly inclined by Tibetan culture.
Tamang Heritage Trail is situated between Langtang and the Ganesh Himal, north of Kathmandu and another means to experience life in the Himalayas and cultural tradition of the people living in there.
Clutched between the Himalaya and the Tibetan border is the Langtang region that lies north of Kathmandu in central Nepal. Just like Tibetan highlands have pleasant rustic background regardless of situating so close to Kathmandu and so is Langtang Region.
Everest region is also identified as the Khumbu region, situated towards the east of the Kathmandu valley. It is the home to the world highest mountain Mt. Everest and also other 8000 mountains like Lhotse, Cho Oyo, and Makalu etc.
