Jagat Niwas Palace is a truly stunning historical building in a perfect location. Since it is located almost next door to the royal palace right on the lakefront, so cannot ask for a better location. Jagat Niwas Palace is a heritage property, 17th-century palace that has been adapted into a hotel with accommodations and has been rebuilt to look like a long-gone era, and true to its name maintained. 

 

This hotel is visually stunning with mesmerizing interiors and beautiful architecture and patio, and there are elegant and spacious lounges too. They have recently refurbished the hotel, so it is immaculately clean and has a very unwinding atmosphere; it instantly makes you feel royal. The ground consists of two beautifully maintained courtyards, there are pots of waters with flowers and candlelight, and it is rather romantic. This sparkling white Haveli is built around a central courtyard- the rooms, stairs to the room, all starts from a central courtyard- stairs are unique and randomly scattered on the walls, as well as many little alcoves with cushions and views on the lake. Here you can read, talk with fellow travelers, or have a meal. This beautiful Haveli also has the best views of the sunset over the hills. Besides, this hotel commands a superb view of the Pichola Lake and the White Palace since it is right on the Lake. Since it is in a quiet corner of town, this hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquility - a relaxing place if you desire to escape the hectic nature of the streets outside.

The restaurants have lots of character, great plants, and old historical furniture. The restaurants also overlook the lake, and at the end of the day, it would be great to watch the glorious sunsets from a window bay in the restaurant area.

 

The rooftop restaurant has stunning night light views when all the structures are brightly lit in different color lights. Their other exceptional facilities like swimming pool, spa, and massage are a great retreat, and free wi-fi in rooms and public areas are a big bonus. This is a well-run hotel with proper management and terrific service. The staffs are efficient and helpful and courteous. They take care of everything with a smile and promptness. They understand the needs of the traveler and are enabled to handle them.
