mongolia map

For many, Mongolia is the land of Genghis Khan. True, but it's so much more. Bordered by Russia in the north and by China from all three remaining sides, Mongolia is the world's second largest landlocked country (after Kazkhastan). The world’s travelers have always found this to be a most exotic destination. Mongolia’s vast grasslands bump into snow-capped mountains in the north and the west. The Gobi Desert is to the south. Most people are of Mongol ethnicity and practice Tibetan Buddhism. More than 30 percent of Mongolians still live a nomadic or semi-nomadic life on horseback in the ger, or yurt, camps.

Our trips take you to both the great Gobi and the vast grasslands, and include opportunities to mingle with the nomads. Majority of our tours are cultural, but we also offer adventure and nature tours.
