Passport And Visa For Myanmar

It is mandatory for travelers travelling to Myanmar to have a passport valid for at least six months after your departure from Myanmar and a valid visa. Also make sure you are not running out of blank visa page.You can apply a conventional Myanmar visa at the nearest embassies and consulates or it's very easy to obtain electronic travel authorization (eVisa) online which is good for entry to Myanmar.

An applicant must have a valid email address, a valid passport, and a credit or debit card, you can complete and submit online e-Visa application and you will receive an email acknowledgement within an hour of successful payment. The visa will be valid for ninety days from the date of issue. You will get your passport stamped with visa upon arrival. Whether you are traveling solo or in a group, you are eligible to apply for eVisa. The eVisa is good for entry from three international airports: Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw and three land border crossing:Tachileik, Myawaddy, Kawthaung. The eVisa is good for maximum stay of 28 days.

If you are denied with Myanmar visa, you have to remember that visa fee is refundable according to their terms and conditions. The applicable fee is only valid for a single entry and for any re-entry, a new visa is required.
